Grok Build Mode lets you ship apps from a text prompt

xAI added a direct competitor to Claude Artifacts and ChatGPT Codex. Grok Build Mode lets you describe a project in plain text and get working code plus a live preview inside the same conversation window.

What It Builds

The supported output types cover most small operator use cases: landing pages, portfolios, planners, trackers, simulations, utilities, games, and interactive dashboards connected to business data sources. You refine the output by typing follow up prompts. No dev environment, no terminal, no setup required.

Publishing

Finished projects publish to a grok.me link or a custom domain, shareable with anyone. That covers the last mile that a lot of AI code tools still fumble.

Access

Build Mode is in Early Beta, available to SuperGrok Heavy subscribers on grok.com and the Grok iOS and Android apps. Look for it in the mode switcher under the Build option.
