Innovid has wired Meta ad campaign data into its NIVO AI product using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the same open standard getting traction across the AI tooling space right now.
What the Integration Does
Marketers using NIVO can now ask questions about their Meta campaigns in plain language and get back responses tied directly to campaign workflows. The stated use cases from early enterprise testing include campaign health summaries, performance trend detection, optimisation prompts, and flagging signs of creative fatigue.
The MCP layer handles authenticated access to Meta campaign data. NIVO then applies advertising logic to turn those raw signals into recommendations and actions. The goal is to cut the distance between spotting a problem and deciding what to do about it, without bouncing between separate platform dashboards.
How It Was Built
Innovid worked with Meta’s product team during the beta programme for Meta ads MCP. That collaboration covered workflow design, usability, and advertising use cases sourced from enterprise marketers. Innovid did not disclose how many clients participated in the early testing.
Grant Parker, President of Innovid, framed the integration this way:
“The promise of agentic AI isn’t just generating recommendations, it’s also enabling meaningful action across advertising workflows. Our early work with Meta ads MCP demonstrates how secure, authenticated access to advertising data allows AI agents to analyse performance, understand campaign context, surface opportunities, and help marketers move from insight to execution.”
The Bigger Picture
This is part of a broader pattern in ad tech: platforms opening their systems to AI tools through standardised interfaces, and middleware vendors like Innovid positioning themselves as the connective layer between those platforms and brand marketers. Innovid says it plans to add more integrations as other advertising platforms expand their own MCP efforts.
