Salesforce launches 4 AI marketing agents inside Agentforce
Salesforce announced four new AI agents built for marketing teams at its Connections 2026 event in June. The agents handle lead qualification, outbound outreach, content generation, and full campaign execution. All four run inside Agentforce and are accessible through Slack.
The Four Agents
Piper, developed by Qualified, identifies and qualifies website visitors in real time, then routes confirmed prospects directly to sales teams.
Hunter identifies potential customers, kicks off outreach, and manages email nurture sequences automatically.
The Agentforce Content Agent generates marketing materials across email, SMS, mobile messaging, and personalized promotions. It localizes content across markets and languages using customer and business data.
The Marketing Goals Agent takes the broadest scope: marketers set objectives, budgets, and operating limits, and the agent handles audience segmentation, content selection, channel decisions, and timing. It adjusts campaigns based on ongoing performance and customer behavior.
Slack Integration
Salesforce built conversational interfaces into the platform so marketers can create campaigns, update customer journeys, and review performance directly inside Slack without switching tools.
The Numbers Behind the Push
Salesforce cited internal research showing 86% of marketers believe AI has fundamentally changed how customers engage with brands. Another 78% say they need more personalized content than their teams can currently produce.
Eric Zenz, senior vice president for product management at Agentforce Marketing, framed the goal as giving marketers the ability to “do work that wasn’t possible before.”
For small marketing teams or solo operators running campaigns inside Salesforce, the Marketing Goals Agent is the one worth watching. Automated audience segmentation and channel timing decisions are exactly the kind of tasks that eat hours without producing anything strategic.
