Sinch launches Agent Tools for AI-assisted comms dev
Sinch just extended its developer platform with a new toolkit called Agent Tools. The release targets developers building communication applications, and it brings AI-assisted coding workflows and API simulation directly into the editors people already use.
What Agent Tools Includes
The toolkit integrates with Visual Studio Code, Cursor, and JetBrains IDEs. On the AI side, it connects with GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT. It also supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which means it can slot into the same agent workflows that are becoming standard across AI coding tools.
The stated goal is to let developers build, test, and deploy communication apps without leaving their IDE. API simulation is part of the package, which cuts the feedback loop when you’re wiring up messaging, voice, or other Sinch communications APIs.
