StackHawk’s Wingman fixes AI coding vulns at $10/user/mo

Security backlogs are a direct side effect of shipping faster with AI. StackHawk just launched Wingman, a tool built to close that gap by fixing vulnerabilities in the same coding session where they were introduced.

What Wingman Does

Wingman integrates with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, and Antigravity. When a feature is marked complete, it can trigger automatically: spin up the running application, test it from an attacker’s perspective, and report results back to the CI pipeline before a pull request is opened.

The tool feeds findings back into the same agent that wrote the code, which then applies the fix and rescans to confirm the issue is resolved. Each test is tied to a specific commit, giving security teams an auditable record of what shipped clean without manually reviewing every change.

Early Numbers

Early-access customers have used Wingman to fix more than 7,500 vulnerabilities across more than five AI coding agents. StackHawk reports that 98% of those fixes held without regressions. Issues addressed include remote code execution, SQL injection, and cross-site scripting.

The Pitch vs. the Status Quo

CEO Joni Klippert puts the problem bluntly:

“The window between vulnerability disclosure and exploitation used to be measured in years. Today, that window can be negative 15 hours as attackers often exploit vulnerabilities before they’re even publicly disclosed.”

His argument is that existing security tools stop at the finding: a ticket, a recommendation, a PR waiting on an engineer. Wingman is positioned to fix and verify at machine speed, inside the workflow, as the code is written.

Pricing

Wingman is priced at $10 per user per month. That includes unlimited applications and 50 scans per user each month. StackHawk is based in Denver and says its products are used by more than 200 enterprise organisations worldwide.
