UiPath adds Cartographer and 12+ features at FUSION 2026
UiPath announced more than a dozen platform updates at its FUSION conference in Las Vegas. Most are available now or shipping next month. The headline feature is Cartographer, a new tool that targets the most painful part of any automation project: figuring out how work actually gets done before you automate it.
️ Cartographer: mapping the real workflow, not the documented one
The first step of any automation initiative is process discovery. That means documenting not just the standard path through a task, but every exception and judgment call employees make along the way. UiPath says that process alone can take weeks.
Cartographer collects that data automatically and outputs a ready-to-use workflow with built-in effectiveness metrics. After the workflow goes live, a companion feature called Decision Ledger logs every action it takes, giving teams a continuous feedback loop for accuracy improvements.
A process map tells you how work is designed to run. UiPath Cartographer is the key to uncovering the operational knowledge of how that work actually runs, with every exception and every judgment call included. It’s the first product built to capture both and keep them in sync.

Test Cloud gets autonomous bug detection next month
The next major update hits Test Cloud in October. A new capability called Autonomous Exploration lets engineers define high-level bug detection goals instead of writing detailed test scripts by hand. The platform then runs the exploration itself.
Test Cloud will also let teams run manually-developed tests through the platform, mixing human and automated approaches. A new AI agent called UiPath Delegate handles administrative overhead like preparing interface test summaries.
Integration Service adds MCP and on-premises support
UiPath’s Integration Service is picking up two notable additions. First, support for MCP-based AI agent tools and database connectors broadens what automation workflows can reach. Second, a new feature called Relay connects workflows to on-premises workloads.
A credential management improvement is also worth noting: teams can now store the login credentials their workflows use inside their existing secrets vaults rather than keeping a separate copy inside UiPath. Less credential sprawl, less admin work.

- New governance controls for AI components inside automation workflows
- UiPath Coding Agents, which lets developers build automation workflows using AI tools including Claude Code, moved from preview to general availability (it first launched in March)
