Claudeforce lets you run Salesforce from inside Claude

Salesforce just made its own interface optional. The company’s expanded partnership with Anthropic, called Claudeforce, puts Salesforce data and workflows directly inside Claude.

What Claudeforce Does

The first product shipping under this partnership is Salesforce in Claude. It lets users query CRM data, update records, review deals, and run workflows without ever opening the Salesforce UI. Claude becomes the interface.

This builds on groundwork Salesforce laid in March with Headless 360, which opened up Salesforce data and workflows to AI agents through APIs and Model Context Protocol servers, bypassing the traditional front end entirely.

The Strategic Bet

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff’s read is that the platform’s long-term value sits in the customer data, business rules, permissions, and workflow infrastructure behind the screens, not in the screens themselves. If that’s true, then losing the UI to Claude is not a loss at all.

For operators and small teams already living inside Claude, this is a meaningful shortcut. No tab switching, no CRM navigation, no manual record updates. You ask Claude, Claude does the Salesforce work.

Why This Matters for Operators

The pattern here is bigger than one CRM. Enterprise software vendors are beginning to treat their UI as a feature rather than a moat. If your stack follows this direction, the AI assistant becomes the single pane of glass for tools that used to require separate logins, separate training, and separate context-switching. Worth watching which platforms move next.
