Cognition AI hits $1B annualized revenue on Devin demand
Cognition AI is closing in on a milestone that most SaaS companies spend years chasing. The company behind Devin, its AI coding software, is on track to hit $1 billion in annualized run-rate revenue based on its performance this month, according to a person familiar with the matter.

That figure roughly doubles Cognition’s run rate from about four months prior. The company confirmed in September that its run-rate revenue had already topped $900 million, with Devin demand cited as the primary driver.

Run-rate revenue is a projection based on a shorter time window, not locked-in annual contracts. That said, doubling in four months is a signal worth watching.
