Cuttable raises A$20M to close the Meta ads creative loop

Cuttable, an Australian-founded AI creative production platform, closed an A$20 million Series A led by Airtree Ventures on October 23, 2026. The round backs a platform update aimed at solving a problem that AI ad generators have largely ignored: not how to make an ad, but which ad to make next.

What Cuttable Does

The platform reads a brand’s website, social channels, and guidelines to build an editable brand strategy and asset kit. Marketers write a plain-language brief and receive finished, editable ads built from existing brand assets or Cuttable’s AI content studio, Shoots, which creates and extends photo and video content.

Finished ads publish directly to Meta Ads Manager. Cuttable’s Ad Insights then pulls performance back from Meta, including thumbstop rate, click-through rate, and return on ad spend, so each new brief builds on what the previous round of ads actually did.

The Numbers

  • Cuttable has processed 280,000 ads and over $320 million in Meta spend through its platform
  • One in eleven ads returns ten times its spend or better, according to Cuttable’s own data
  • Brands increase creative output 3.4 times heading into November
  • Platform brands average a 4.4x return on ad spend and see a 37% lift in account-level ROAS after switching to Cuttable
  • The company works with more than 420 brands across the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Europe, including lululemon and Rodan & Fields
  • 40% of revenue now comes from the U.S., one year after entering the market

The Investor Angle

Airtree previously led Cuttable’s seed round and returned to lead this Series A. The firm’s portfolio includes Canva, Airwallex, and Linktree. Airtree partner James Cameron, who also backed Cuttable’s CEO Sam Kroonenburg when he founded and sold A Cloud Guru in 2021, said growth has exceeded their already high expectations.

The Operator Takeaway

If you’re running Meta ads at any scale, the core insight here is worth noting independent of the platform: a small number of ads carry entire accounts, and most teams still treat each creative brief as a fresh start. Cuttable’s bet is that connecting production, performance data, and intent into one loop is the actual product. The funding suggests at least one major VC agrees.
