DeepHealth launches Reporting Pro to cut radiology documentation load
DeepHealth, a RadNet subsidiary focused on health informatics, has commercially launched Reporting Pro, a radiology reporting platform that pulls speech recognition, AI-generated findings, measurements, impressions, and quality checks into a single connected workflow. The product debuted at RSNA 2025.
What It Does
The platform is built around four capabilities:
- Clinical AI integration: Pulls in findings and measurements from FDA-cleared and CE-marked DeepHealth tools as well as third-party AI directly into structured reports.
- Generative AI drafting: Uses AI to organize findings and draft impressions, with the model adapting over time based on physician feedback.
- Template migration: Supports import of existing templates and reporting preferences so radiologists keep familiar workflows during the transition.
- Unified workflow: Combines speech recognition, AI findings, measurements, impressions, and QA into one environment, reducing manual data transfer between steps.
Why It Exists
The stated driver is a widening radiologist shortage. In the U.S., that shortage is projected to hit roughly 15% by 2029. Some European countries are looking at shortages of up to 40% by 2030. The goal is to let radiologists spend time reviewing and refining results rather than on manual documentation.
DeepHealth’s Business and Product Leader for Enterprise Imaging, Madhu Jahagirdar, described the launch as a shift toward using AI throughout the entire reporting process, not just at the image analysis stage.
