Glitch AI agents handle game marketing for solo devs

Most indie game studios don’t have a marketing department. They have a founder who codes, does customer support, and somewhere between shipping builds, tries to post on social media. Glitch is building directly for that reality.

What Glitch Launched

The company revealed AI marketing agents designed for solo developers and small indie teams. The workflow is structured around three steps: set a growth goal for your game, connect your relevant data sources, then review AI-generated draft materials before anything goes live. No action runs without human approval.

According to Glitch founder Devin Dixon, indie developers routinely have to manage social media, creator campaigns, advertising, community engagement, and analytics without a dedicated marketing team to handle any of it.

What It Covers

The tool is built to work across mobile, PC, web, and console games. Supported channels include Discord, Steam, and Twitch, among others.

The Operator Angle

The human-in-the-loop approval step is the part worth noting. AI marketing tools that fire autonomously are a liability for small teams with limited budgets and reputations to protect. Glitch’s draft-then-approve model keeps a developer in control of what actually goes out. That’s a sensible constraint for the audience they’re targeting.
