Lovable hits $13.3B valuation with $400M Series C raise
Lovable, the Stockholm-based natural-language app builder founded by Anton Osika and Fabian Hedin, just closed a $400 million Series C at a $13.3 billion valuation. Eight months ago the company was valued at $6.6 billion. Investors effectively doubled their mark in less than a year.
Menlo Ventures and the EQT-managed Scaleup Europe Fund co-led the round. New names include Tencent, Balderton Capital, Carmignac, Kaszek Ventures, LTS Growth, World Innovation Lab, and Regent. Returning investors include Accel, Antler, CapitalG, DST Global, Evantic Capital, HubSpot Ventures, and Salesforce Ventures.
The revenue numbers behind the valuation
Lovable’s ARR nearly tripled from $200 million and is tracking toward $600 million by the end of August, according to the company. That trajectory, for a platform that launched in November 2024, is what’s driving the enthusiasm from both new and returning investors.
Users have created more than 60 million projects on the platform. Apps built with Lovable now receive over 900 million visits per month. The company says its software reached employees at nearly two-thirds of the Fortune 500 during its first full year.
What Lovable is building toward
The pitch has moved past “describe your app in plain English and watch it appear.” Lovable is adding payments, security scanning, governance controls, and enterprise integrations. The goal is a platform where users build, launch, monetize, and operate software businesses, not just spin up prototypes.
Named enterprise customers using the platform include Nvidia, Adidas, Deutsche Telekom, Zendesk, Handshake, and Checkr. CEO Anton Osika described the funding as fuel to move faster on product, infrastructure, and team.
Lovable plans to grow to roughly 450 employees this year, with hiring concentrated in machine learning, product, infrastructure, and security. Stockholm stays the main base, with teams expanding in London, Boston, San Francisco, and New York.
For solo operators and indie builders, the signal here is straightforward: vibe coding is no longer a toy category. The infrastructure and enterprise tooling Lovable is building will eventually make its way into the lower tiers of the product. That’s worth watching.
