Lovable just closed a $400M funding round at a $13.3B valuation, according to the Wall Street Journal. That number is double the $6.6B valuation the Stockholm-based AI coding startup carried in December 2025.

The raise puts Lovable among the most valuable startups in Europe. The company builds what the industry has started calling vibe coding tools, software that lets non-technical users generate and deploy working applications through natural language prompts.

Why This Number Matters

A valuation doubling in roughly eight months is a signal investors are pricing in significant growth expectations for the AI-assisted development category. For indie hackers and solopreneurs who use tools like Lovable to ship products without a full engineering team, the competitive and pricing landscape for these platforms is worth watching as the funding rounds scale up.
