Stockholm-based Lovable announced a $400 million Series C round on August 12, 2026, putting its valuation at $13.3 billion. The round was led by Menlo Ventures and co-led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT.

The cap table was built with deliberate geographic range. New European investors include Balderton Capital and Carmignac. Latin America is represented by Kaszek Ventures and LTS Growth. Tencent also joined the round. The company’s previous raise was a Series B in December 2025, though that round’s valuation was not disclosed in the company’s announcement.

The Operator Takeaway

Lovable is one of the leading vibe coding platforms, which lets non-developers build functional web apps through natural language prompts. A $13.3 billion valuation puts it firmly in the upper tier of AI infrastructure plays, and the deliberately global investor mix signals the company is not positioning itself as a regional tool.

For solopreneurs and indie operators already using or evaluating AI app builders, this level of institutional backing typically means continued product investment and slower likelihood of a sudden shutdown. It also means pricing pressure is unlikely to drop in the near term as the company services investor growth expectations.
