Planetcast is heading to IBC 2026 in Amsterdam (Sept. 11-14, Booth 5.G80) with four tools aimed at the slowest, most manual parts of broadcast and streaming operations.

The Four Tools

  • ena.ai: Automates identification, creation, and distribution of live sports highlights. The AI recognizes key moments across cricket, football, and tennis and pushes clips to broadcast, OTT, and social platforms.
  • Anvaya: A real-time dashboard for media processing workflows. Includes automated alerts and an AI assistant that lets operators query system data and generate reports in plain English.
  • Cyan: Connects production and broadcast tools into workflows directed via natural language, with human approval built in. A pilot reduced a delivery workflow covering quality control, transcription, translation, compliance, and ad-marker preparation from about four hours to three minutes.
  • Fastcast: Handles FAST channel delivery and server-side ad stitching, managing viewer access, delivery, and measurement in one system.

The Scale Behind the Pitch

Planetcast reports it supports more than 450 channels reaching 1.3 billion viewers across more than 50 media brands. For beIN SPORTS Asia Pacific specifically, it manages more than 40 simultaneous live sporting events at peak across 18 linear and 24 OTT channels in 12 APAC markets.

CEO Sanjay Bhat framed the push as a response to compounding operational pressure:

“Media companies are being asked to produce more content, move faster and reach audiences across more platforms, while the workflows behind those demands continue to grow more complex.”

The booth will also include demos of playout, live production, and broadcast graphics alongside the four featured tools.
