TermSquad gives AI coding agents a persistent cloud Linux home
One persistent frustration with AI coding agents: close your laptop and the session dies with it. TermSquad launched to fix that.
What TermSquad Does
TermSquad provides a managed cloud Linux computer that keeps agent sessions running whether your local machine is on or not. Developers reconnect from a desktop browser, phone, or SSH client and pick up exactly where they left off. Repositories, files, and configurations live in the remote environment rather than on any single device.
The platform manages machine setup and core maintenance. Developers bring their own agents and model subscriptions. Supported tools include Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot. Users install agents from the dashboard and connect existing accounts or API keys.
Multi-Agent Coordination and Shared Memory
The platform’s session layer is called Herdr. It manages persistent sessions, workspaces, and terminal panes. Closing the browser does not end those sessions.
On top of that sits Squad, TermSquad’s multi-agent orchestration layer. A lead agent can assign implementation and review tasks to other agents, run independent work in parallel, and collect results. Developers can assign different agents and models to each role.
Squad also includes a Debate mode: two agents develop independent proposals and challenge each other’s reasoning over successive rounds. The output records explicit agreement or a lack of consensus, with a local transcript saved for review.
Squad Memory handles persistent project knowledge. Architectural decisions, coding conventions, and session summaries can be stored and retrieved by compatible agents in later sessions. Memory is organized by project and stays on the user’s TermSquad computer. A decision saved during a Claude Code session can later be retrieved by Codex on the same machine.
